Justin Cohen MD: A Perfectionist in the Art Of Cosmetic Treatments

Dr. Cohen brings an Ivy League education and training to his plastic surgery practice. He takes a detailed approach to every procedure and never cuts corners. Rather than doing the easy things, he does the right things. With a knowledgeable and courteous staff and an aesthetic environment, he goes the extra mile to make sure everything about your treatment works smoothly.

What Is the Treatment Experience?

Before Restylane treatment, you will have a consultation with Dr. Cohen. He will assess your skin, discuss your aesthetic goals, and recommend the Restylane products best suited to your needs. On the day of your injections, the treatment areas will be cleaned, and a topical numbing cream may be applied, depending on your sensitivity. Doctor Cohen will inject the Restylane product into the targeted areas using a fine needle, then gently massage the treated areas to distribute the filler evenly. Any minor discomfort experienced during the injections is usually mild and temporary.

What Is the Recovery After Injections?

One of the benefits of Restylane injections is little or no downtime. Most patients can resume normal activities immediately after treatment. Common temporary side effects include mild swelling, redness, bruising, or tenderness at the injection sites, which typically resolve within a few days. Results are usually noticeable immediately after a treatment session, with the full effects appearing once the initial redness or swelling has subsided.
